HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Elmira College men's basketball team came up short against an efficient Hilbert College squad on Saturday as the Soaring Eagles dropped a 97-67 decision against the Hawks in non-conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Tyler Cardello '26 paced Elmira with a team-high 19 points and eight rebounds in the contest.
- Kelton Brown '28 recorded a double-digit performance with 14 points from the field, while Riley Spencer '26 added 10 points.
- Hilbert was lead by a game-high 24 points from Quran Briggs as he went 11-of-17 from the field. Nathan Moore also added 18 points on the night for the Hawks as he was 6-of-9 from 3-point range.
- The Soaring Eagles finished the contest 4-of-24 from 3-point range while going 15-of-20 at the free-throw line. Hilbert connected on 12-of-26 shots from downtown while going 38-of-77 from the field.
