Soaring Eagles Drop Dual to Panthers

BRADFORD, PA – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles were back on the mats on Tuesday night, falling in a dual with the University of Pitt-Bradford Panthers, 42-17.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
A pair of Soaring Eagles seniors, Hollis Berry '25 and Kahajen Smith '25, each won their weight classes at 165 lbs., and 197 lbs., respectively. Berry registering a technical fall got EC on the board with its first five points. Smith's fall of Alec Kapacs netted the Soaring Eagles six more, raising that total to 11.

Garrett Roskelly '27 won his weight class by forfeit, bringing the Soaring Eagles to their total 17 points in the match.

UP NEXT:
The Soaring Eagles will be back in action on Saturday back in the Keystone State. This time, the team will compete at Elizabethtown College in the Blue Jay Classic. Wrestling begins at 9:30 AM.
