Nathan Ofalt '26 delivered a pair of hits, including a run-scoring double as the Elmira College baseball program dropped a 14-3 decision on Sunday against the Albright College Lions in a neutral site matchup at Gallaudet University.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Soaring Eagles plated their first run of the contest in the fourth inning as Chris Jones '25 came around to score on a double by Ofalt.
- Elmira looked to put together a rally in the sixth inning against the Lions as Matteo Salvati '25, Ofalt, Jacob Parker '25, and Gabe Fellows '25 each tallied a hit for the Purple & Gold. Salvati and Ofalt would both come around to score in the frame as EC stranded a pair of runners on base.
- Nicholas Miller '26 made his first start of the season on the mound for the Purple & Gold and yielded three runs off four hits to go along with three strikeouts through three innings of work. Kyle Tubbs '22 would be the first to come out of the bullpen for EC and tossed a pair of clean frames to go along with three strikeouts.
- The Lions tallied four runs in the sixth inning and five runs in the seventh inning to take a comfortable lead against the Soaring Eagles. Albright also notched nine hits against EC pitching between the two frames after tallying four hits through the first five innings.
