HOUGHTON, NY. – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles were on the wrong end of a 94-64 final score on Saturday night, taking the loss at the hands of the Houghton Highlanders.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
16 points from Tyler Cardello '26 and a career-high 10 from Sam Ruggles '28 was not enough offense for EC in this one.

Cardello and JJ Babcock '26 paced the Soaring Eagles on the glass, with Cardello collecting a team-high seven boards and Babcock pulling down another six.

Babcock and Emmanuel Karkari-Mensah '28 tied for the team lead with three assists each.

Another subpar shooting night for Elmira (23-63 from the field) was a major reason why it wasn't able to come away with its first conference win of the year.
