Kelton Brown has been named the Empire 8 Co-Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.
Kelton Brown helped pave the way for the Soaring Eagles this past week. Elmira went head-to-head with Fredonia and Penn State Brandywine and finished the week 2-0. Both games were intense and went into overtime, but still saw the Soaring Eagles come out victorious. Brown tallied a total of 59 points, 20 rebounds, 7 steals, 8 assists, and one block between the two games.
Against Fredonia, Brown tallied 30 points and 9 rebounds with four assists and four steals. Against Penn State Brandywine, Brown recorded a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds. He also tallied three steals, one block, and four assists.
Brown leads the Soaring Eagles with 136 points and 47 rebounds through six games so far this season. He also leads in assists with 20 and steals with 15 while averaging 22.7 points per game.
