ELMIRA, N.Y. – Elmira College men's ice hockey forward Tyler Schwindt has been named the UCHC and Empire 8 Co-Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Schwindt helped lead the Soaring Eagles offense this past week in three different matches. Overall, he netted four goals with three assists along with one block. Against Neumann University, Schwindt tallied one assist. Against King's College, Schwindt recorded a hat trick paired with two assists. Lastly, against Wilkes University he marked one goal and one black.

Schwindt leads the Soaring Eagles offense this season with five goals and three assists for a collective eight points. He has netted two goals during power play opportunities along with one game winning goal. Lastly, he has two blocks thus far this season.
