MARSHFIELD, Mass. – The New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) released its end-of-the-year awards on Thursday afternoon with the Elmira College men's ice hockey program garnering a second-team All-Conference nod and an All-Rookie team honor.
Ryan Reifler '24 earned a second-team All Conference selection, the second time he has been honored with an all-conference yearly award in his career. In 2021, Reifler was honored with a selection on the UCHC All-Rookie Team.
Reifler finished the season tying his career high in goals (13), while setting new career-highs in assists (13) and points (26). Reifler also skated in his 100th career game for the Soaring Eagles and collected his 100th career point, becoming the 55th member of the men's hockey program to reach the century mark.
Cam Lowe '28 took home the All-Rookie designation, as the first year rearguard finished with two goals and 12 assists for 14 points in 24 games. Lowe only missed one game and was a staple on the second pair with Carter Wisely '25 for Aaron Saul '98 all season. Lowe also quarterbacked the top power-play unit for the majority of the season.
Lowe was also a force in the Soaring Eagles' defensive zone, finishing third on the team in blocked shots with 30, and behind only Wisely among the team's blueliners in +/-, with a rating of +5.
