MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles fought hard but ultimately fell to Neumann University 22-7, at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Neumann jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first inning, capitalizing on timely hitting. The Soaring Eagles responded with two runs in the bottom half of the inning, thanks to a two-RBI single from Bryan Jimenez '25.

Elmira chipped away in the early innings, pulling within 6-5 after Brady Buttice '26 drove in two runs with a third-inning single. However, Neumann's offense erupted again, scoring three runs in the fourth and eight in the ninth.

Brett Warden '25 had a strong day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Jimenez added two hits and a stolen base. Ryan Trenholm '25 also contributed an RBI walk in the seventh.
