KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – A late rally wouldn't be enough for the Elmira College baseball program on Tuesday, as the Soaring Eagles dropped a 15-8 decision on the road against the Keuka College Wolves at Kuhl Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Keuka opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with a double to center field to take a 1-0 lead. The Wolves followed with four runs in the second inning, as a bases-clearing triple highlighted the frame.
- Emira tallied its first run in the top of the third inning, as Bryan Jimenez scored on a wild pitch.
- The Wolves added some insurance on the scoreboard with three runs in the fourth inning and six runs in the fifth inning to take a 14-1 advantage.
- Connor Stone started a rally for the Soaring Eagles with a two-run double in the sixth inning, while Ryan Trenholm followed with an RBI groundout to trim the deficit to 14-4.
- Matteo Salvati connected on a three-run home run for the Soaring Eagles in the seventh inning to make it 14-7. Kaden Bolt added a run in the eighth with a single to score Stone and make it 14-8.
- Bolt paced Elmira in the game with three hits, while Salvati and Stone added two hits each for the Purple & Gold.
- John Yanity worked a scoreless inning of relief out of the bullpen for the Soaring Eagles, while Brennan Goin tossed the final two frames and allowed one run on two hits.
