Elmira College Women's Soccer Releases 2025 Schedule on Friday

ELMIRA, N.Y. – As he enters his fourth season as the head coach of the Elmira College Women's Soccer team, Bill Kelly has announced the 2025 Soaring Eagles schedule. This year's schedule features eight away games and nine home contests at Elmira's Campus Field. Elmira aims to build on its appearance in the Empire 8 Tournament last season, its first since 2005.

Elmira begins its season with four non-conference matches, starting with an away game against Ithaca College on Friday, August 29. This marks the third consecutive season that the Soaring Eagles and Bombers open the season against each other. Elmira will play its first home game against King's College (Pa.) on Wednesday, September 3, at 6:00 p.m. This will be their first meeting since 2013 and the first in Elmira since 2011.

Penn College visits Campus Field on September 6, while Buffalo State travels to Elmira on September 10. The matchup between the Soaring Eagles and Bengals will be their 12th all-time, but the first since 2015.

Empire 8 Conference action begins for the Soaring Eagles on September 13, when Elmira travels to face St. John Fisher University. The following week, the Purple & Gold host the Alfred State Pioneers in a non-conference match at Campus Field on September 17. The Soaring Eagles remain on the road for a conference match against the SUNY Poly Wildcats on September 20.

The Soaring Eagles will kick off a three-game home series as Elmira faces Russell Sage College on September 24. Elmira then hosts Empire 8 rival Utica University on September 27, before wrapping up its homestand with a non-conference game against Lycoming College on October 1.

Seven consecutive conference games will complete the regular season for the Purple & Gold, as Elmira travels on the road to face Alfred University on October 4 and Hartwick College on October 8. The Soaring Eagles will then host back-to-back matches at Campus Field against SUNY Geneseo on October 11 and Keuka College on October 15.

Elmira then travels to SUNY Brockport on October 18 for a rematch of the 2024 Empire 8 Championship Quarterfinal. The final home game for the Purple & Gold will be against Nazareth University on October 25, while the regular-season finale is on the road against Houghton University on October 29.

The 2025 Empire 8 Tournament is scheduled for November 1-8 and will include three rounds. The championship game is set for Saturday, November 8, at the highest seed.
