ELMIRA, N.Y. – Elmira College women's basketball guard Lauren Miller has been named the Empire 8 Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Miller helped lead the No. 7 Soaring Eagles to a 77-71 upset victory over No. 2 Brockport in the quarterfinals contest on Saturday. Miller tallied 21 points, four rebounds, and was 6-7 from behind the three-point arc. She also recorded one block and one steal.

So far this season, Miller has tallied 242 points with 36 assists over 628 minutes. She has recorded 165 rebounds, 148 defensive and 17 offensive, with 18 steals and 19 blocks.
