Ryan had a historic weekend on the ice as she helped keep the women's ice hockey team perfect in 2014-15 with a pair of dominating victories over SUNY Cortland. She entered the weekend with 99 career points, needing just one point to become the ninth player in EC history to reach 100 career points. Ryan accomplished that feat early in Saturday's game as she assisted on the game's opening goal which came 3:56 into the first period. The senior forward did not stop there, however, assisting on two additional goals in the first period, and then adding three more assists throughout the game for a total of six. The six assists also put Ryan's name in the record books alongside former EC standouts Laura Hurd '05 and Charissa Gawant '05 as the three players to record six assists in a single game.
 
Her stellar play continued on Sunday as the Soaring Eagles completed the weekend sweep with an 8-1 win over the Red Dragons. Ryan again racked up the assists, totaling three on the afternoon, and also got into the scoring column for the first time this season for four total points in the game. Ryan's 10-point weekend upped her season total to 12 points and at 3.00 points per game, she is leading the nation, across all divisions, in scoring. In addition, she is also leading all divisions in assists per game, averaging 2.75.
 
Ryan and the women's ice hockey team will now turn their attention to ECAC West opponent Utica College as the two teams will play a home-and-home series this weekend. EC hosts the first game of the weekend on Saturday, November 15th at 3:00 p.m. in the Murray Athletic Center. Saturday will also be a homecoming for 2014 AHCA All-American Tanis Lamoureux '14 who will return to the MAC on the opposing bench as she is as an assistant coach for the Pioneers.
