Palmer finished the week with a goal and an assist placing six of her nine shots on frame. In thrilling fashion she tallied the game-winning goal with eight minutes remaining to lead EC to its first win of the season, a 3-2 victory over Anna Maria College. She also recorded the assist on the game-tying goal in the same contest. 

The EC Field Hockey team returns to the pitch Saturday when it hosts Empire 8 foe Hartwick College at 1:00 p.m. at the Murray Athletic Center.
