Steadman scored her seventh goal of the year and the was the only player to find the back of the net over 60 minutes of the championship game as she lifted EC to its record-tying third national championship. After an initial shot on net she skated toward the front of net and buried the game-winner 12:26 into the second period. She finishes her rookie season with 11 points on seven goals and four assists.
