Elmira College Athletics

An integral part of three different women’s programs as a student-athlete at Elmira College in the mid-'70s, Carol McClelland Dopp was a three-sport athlete as a member of the women’s volleyball, basketball, and softball teams.

She was part of the first two volleyball teams to place in the top five of the P-C-A-C conference standings, while also playing basketball for coach Carol Lane. Her senior year, she was a member of the first varsity team for the Purple & Gold softball program.
