Scranton, PA – The Elmira College Men's Tennis team lost its first match of the season to Marywood University, 9-0, Thursday evening. The Pacers move to 2-0 on the season, while the Soaring Eagles fall to 2-1 for the fall.

Throughout the match the Pacers would dominate edging out a win on every court. In doubles action the Soaring Eagles were close to obtaining one point with Satchal Waters '16 and Scott Ferron '16 losing 8-5 at third doubles. Waters was also close to obtaining another point for EC when he forced a third set super tiebreaker, but fell late in the breaker 10-5.

This will end the fall season for the EC Men's tennis team. The team will look towards the spring and work hard to earn wins against their conference opponents.
