Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College women's lacrosse team will head to the Flower City tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. to compete against the University of Rochester.
Last Time OutThe Purple and Gold are coming off an 11-8 loss against King's College last weekend. The EC women took a 4-3 lead with a little over 8:19 left in the first half, however, the Lady Monarch's would score three straight goals to take a 6-4 advantage. Elmira came within one goal twice over the remainder of the game but could not overcome the Lady Monarchs' lead as the EC women fell 11-8.
Career-HighsKara Yakel '16 scored a career-high three goals against King's College while
Kylie Connell '17 scored four points for the second straight game, matching a career-high. Three of Connell's points came off a career-high three assists.
A Look at The YellowjacketsThe Yellowjackets of the University of Rochester enter tomorrow's matchup with a 3-1 record, winning each of their past three games. Rochester is most recently coming off a 17-1 win over Hilbert College last weekend. Jamie Wallish leads the Yellowjackets offensively with 14 goals and seven assists while Maire Prosake has seen the majority of time between the pipes this season making 17 saves.
