All-Time SeriesSince 2000, Elmira has seen a great deal of success against the Lakers, winning 12 of the 14 meetings. The Soaring Eagles enter the match having won five consecutive matches against the Lakers, with the first win in that series of victories occurring in the 2010 spring season. Oswego's two wins came in back-to-back seasons in 2008 and 2009.
Scouting OswegoOswego State enters today's non-conference matchup with hopes of evening their record, as the Lakers look to build on their 4-5 overall record. Oswego is riding high on a two-match win streak, with victories over St. John Fisher College and Fredonia State. The Lakers have played three of the same opponents as Elmira and own an identical record against those teams with nearly identical score lines. Oswego's strength this season is most certainly the middle part of their lineup, as third and fourth singles players, Alli Ullrich and Leslie Usherwood, lead the Lakers with four singles wins apiece.
