OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Elmira College Men's Basketball team dropped their finale in the Max Ziel Tournament on Sunday afternoon to the Wildcats from SUNY Poly, 74-66. The Soaring Eagles were led by
Bryan Adams '25 (17 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds), as well as
David Kruis '23 (14 points, 4-of-7 from 3PT).

HOW IT HAPPENED :
The Soaring Eagles and Wildcats played back-and-forth with Elmira holding the 27-22 advantage with 5:22 remaining in the opening half. Despite the early woes, the Wildcats were able to use a 13-4 run to finish the half and take a 35-31 lead into the break.
In the first half, the Soaring Eagles shot 36.4% from the field and 25.0% from beyond the arc compared to 38.7% for the Wildcats.
Coming out of the locker room, the Soaring Eagles were able to shoot almost evenly with SUNY Poly, but EC was never able to regain the lead as the Wildcats went on to take the 74-66 victory.
