ADRIAN, MICH. –
Zoey Lints '27 recorded the biggest victory of her collegiate career for the Elmira College women's wrestling program on Sunday after defeating returning All-American Kendall Bostelman from North Central College. The Soaring Eagles finished 10
th out of 23 programs in the overall team standings as
Megan Edwards '27 also placed sixth for Elmira.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lints would go on to finish second wrestling at 143 pounds for the Soaring Eagles and would advance to the quarterfinals following a tech fall victory. A pin against Delaware Valley's Olivia Kinder would send Lints to the semifinals, where she would earn an 11-7 decision against the fourth-ranked wrestler at 143 pounds in Bostelman from NCC. The run for Lints would come to an end in the title bout with a tech fall loss against Grace Stem from Lock Haven.
- Edwards would travel a different path for the Purple & Gold, as she would battle through the consolation bracket after dropping her first bout against Victoria Smith from Lock Haven. Edwards would rattle off four straight victories including three pins en route to a rematch against Smith in the consolation semifinals. Smith would advance via another tech fall as Edwards would finish sixth following a double forfeit in the fifth-place bout.
- Gabby Bradigan '26 and Leslie Monterrosa '24 recorded multiple victories on the day for the Soaring Eagles as Bradigan recorded two wins at 130 pounds before dropping her quarterfinal bout. Monterrosa tallied a pair of consolation victories after dropping her first match of the day and advanced to the fourth round for the Soaring Eagles.
- The Soaring Eagles also received wins on the day from Hazel Dahlquist '25, Skylah Chakouian '25, Ella Bode '27, and Kaitlyn Potter '26. Skylynn Tomlinson '26 returned to the mat for the Soaring Eagles in her first tournament action of the season competing at 101 pounds.
