ELMIRA, N.Y. – On a brisk sunny day at Elmira Country Club, the Elmira College men's golf team hosted the EC Fall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, placing 4th of a ten-team field. The Purple & Gold, who were led by Christian Babcock '26 (79, +7), followed up his medalist runner-up honors from the EC Spring Invitational to place third individual in the 52-person field. For his round, Babcock finished +2 on Par-5 scoring, along with a +1 on his Par-3's for the afternoon.

Jack Finnerty '23 ended his day posting an 82 (+10), carrying himself to a 9th place finish where he averaged a 5.33 (+1) on all Par-5s to help pace the Soaring Eagles. Additionally, Nicholas Domitrovic '24 finished 17th after posting an 84 (+12), while the Elmira (A) team was rounded out by Shane Haviland '24 (88, +16), and Chance Gorman '24 (89, +17).
On the Elmira (B) team, Liam Sanborn '23 led all golfers with a 95 (+23), while Luke Craft (96, +24), Connor Stone '26 (96, +24), Tyler Scott '26 (98, +26), and Matt York '26 (99, +27) rounded out the lineup who placed 9th in the invitational.
As a team, the Soaring Eagles finished T-1st in the invitational in Par 5 scoring, averaging a 5.33 (+4) for the afternoon along with SUNY Canton.
