CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The Elmira College men's golf team finished up the fall portion of the Empire 8 Conference Tournament on Monday afternoon at Cazenovia Country Club. Elmira, who entered Monday in 6th, would finish the day in the same position after posting a 336 (+52) for the day to end the fall portion with a 666 (+98).
On Monday, the Soaring Eagles were led by Shane Haviland '24, who would improve his scorecard by nine strokes from Sunday, finishing with an 83 (+12).

Tyler Scott '26 would post a team-best 39 (+4) on the front nine for the Soaring Eagles on Monday, followed closely by Haviland, who posted a 40 (+6). The Purple & Gold would receive a trio of birdies on the front nine, as Haviland and Chance Gorman '24 each went under-par on the Par 5, ninth hole. Jack Finnerty '24 would post the other, scoring a two on the Par 3 eighth hole, which played 166 yards.
On the back, Haviland birdied the 555-yard Par 5 15th hole, while Nicholas Domitrovic '24 scored a two on the 16th hole, which played as a 162-yard Par 3.
Scott would post a score of 1-over from holes three through eight, making his only bogey on the Par 4, fifth hole.
