VOORHEESVILLE, N.Y. – The Elmira College men's golf team found itself as the lone victor for the first time on Wednesday afternoon since the Cobleskill Jug Classic in the Fall of 2019, when claiming top spot at the Gator Fall Invitational hosted by Russell Sage College at Colonie Golf & Country Club. The Soaring Eagles, who earned top spot after a 14-stoke improvement from yesterday in its home invitational, were led by Jack Finnerty '23, who earned medalist honors after posting a 76 (+4) for the round.

Of the 25-golfer field, the Soaring Eagles had four individuals place in the top-ten for the event, led by Finnerty who carded his second lowest round of the season. Additionally,
Shane Haviland (80, +8), and
Christian Babcock '26 (80, +8) finished T-3rd in the event.
Nicholas Domitrovic '24 and
Shane Haviland '24 rounded out the Elmira lineup, scoring an 83 (+11) and an 87 (+15) to finish 10th and 15th, respectively.
