COLLEGEVILLE, PA. – Nine different members of the Elmira College women's wrestling program recorded a top-six finish to help the Soaring Eagles finish second in the team standings with 39 points. Elmira had three first-place performances along with two second-place, and one third-place finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Abby Duke '26, Zoey Lints '27, and Tayana Labady '25 all finished at the top of their weight class on the day as Skylah Chakouian '25 and Hazel Dahlquist '25 both advanced to the championship bout at their weight class.
- At 109 pounds, Duke capped a 4-0 tournament with a 10-0 victory against Tiana Savino from East Stroudsburg. At 143 pounds, Lints went 3-0 after an opening round bye with a 10-0 victory over Veloria Pannell from MIT. Labady would finish with a 3-0 record on the day at 191 pounds after pinning Jacklyn Smith from Sacred Heart in the title bout.
- Chakouian advanced to the championship bout at 155 pounds after notching three pins for the Soaring Eagles. Chakouian would take down a pair of ESU wrestlers in Paitlyn Delong and Damiana Racciatti to move on. At 170 pounds, Dahlquist used a pin to advance to the title bout before falling against Jade Huerta from ESU.
- Megan Edwards '27 battled through six bouts on the day and went 5-1 for the Soaring Eagles to capture third place at 123 pounds. Edwards would outlast Kalli Roskos from Ursinus with a 4-3 decision to advance to the title bout.
- Leslie Monterrosa '24 and Ella Bode '27 both notched fourth place finishes for the Soaring Eagles on the day. Competing at 136 pounds, Monterrosa rebounded from a loss with three consecutive victories to advance to the third-place bout. Bode, competing at 143 pounds, rattled off three straight pins to secure a spot in the third-place bout after falling in her second matchup.
- At 130 pounds, Gabby Bradigan '26 finished the day 3-2, while advancing to the fifth-place bout after securing a pair of 10-0 victories. Bradigan dropped a 13-4 decision against Linda Holeman from Western New England before a no-contest would follow in the fifth-place matchup.
- The Soaring Eagles would also get individual victories in the tournament from, Angelina Caban '26 (155), Hailey Berry '27 (130), Kaitlyn Potter '26 (101), and Tess Clabaugh (136).
