ALBANY, N.Y. – The Elmira College women's wrestling program competed in four duals on Saturday as the Soaring Eagles faced three NCAA DI programs and one DII program at the Journeyman Duals in Albany.
Zoey Lints '27 and
Skylah Chakouian '25 both went 3-0 on the day for the Soaring Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Elmira opened the day with a matchup against Lock Haven, as the Bald Eagles would avenge a loss from earlier this season against the Soaring Eagles.
- The Soaring Eagles would get a forfeit victory from Abby Duke at 110 pounds to knot the match early 5-5. Lock Haven followed with three wins at 117, 124, and 131 pounds.
- Gabby Bradigan '26, Zoey Lints '27, and Skylah Chakouian '25 notched wins for Elmira at 138, 145, and 180 pounds. Bradigan won via a 6-4 decision, while Lints notched a pin and Chakouian a tech fall for EC.
- The Soaring Eagles matched up against Sacred Heart in the second dual of the day as the Pioneers recorded a 32-16 victory.
- Duke earned four points to get EC onto the scoreboard with a tech fall at 110 pounds. Bradigan later followed with another tech fall at 131 pounds for the Soaring Eagles.
- Ragan Retell '28 tallied three points in the match with a 14-5 decision at 138 pounds, while Lints followed with another pin in 22 seconds at 145 pounds.
- Elmira would drop its third dual of the day via a 40-7 decision against Presbyterian College. Duke and Retell both earned a match point for Elmira at 110 and 131 pounds.
- The lone victory in the dual for Elmira would come via Chakouian, as she delivered a pin at 180 pounds.
- In its final dual of the day, the Soaring Eagles would face the top-ranked women's wrestling program, the Iowa Hawkeyes.
- The Soaring Eagles would notch a pair of wins against the Hawkeyes as Chakouian received a forfeit win at 160 pounds, while Lints needed only 14 seconds to notch a pin at 145 pounds.
