ELMIRA, N.Y. – Elmira College women's ice hockey forward Anna Lugge has been named the Empire 8 Player of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Lugge was the standout offensive player for the Soaring Eagles this past week, recording Elmira's lone goal against Cortland this past Tuesday. She was also 9-20 in faceoff attempts during the match.

Lugge has scored five goals and tallied four assists so far this season, leading to a collective nine points. She has recorded five blocked shots and netted two goals on power play opportunities. Also, Lugge has scored one game winning goal.
