On Saturday afternoon against Chatham University, Steadman had the best game of her season recording her first hat trick as a Soaring Eagle. Her first score, and the game winner, came 3:51 into the first period and gave EC an early 1-0 lead. Steadman’s second score came 24 seconds into the third period helping EC gain a 5-0 lead. The rookie’s final tally came with 59 seconds left in the game helping EC gain an 8-0 advantage. In addition to her hat trick the freshman went 21-2 in faceoff wins over the weekend to lead the team. 

The No. 3 EC Women’s Hockey team hits the road Saturday and Sunday for a crucial two game series with No. 1 SUNY Plattsburgh. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. Saturday and 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
