Fourth year attacker
TJ White '15 (Collegeville, PA -- Methacton) finished with a team-high seven points as the Elmira College Men's Lacrosse team fell, 21-10, to visiting Nazareth College Saturday afternoon at Campus Field. The win improves the Golden Flyers to 8-8 overall and 5-2 in Empire 8 play, while the loss drops the Soaring Eagles to 3-10 overall and 0-7 in conference competition.

White fed classmate
Acorn who found the back of the net for the early 1-0 lead. However, Nazareth scored four of the next five goals to take a 5-2 lead early in the second quarter. The Golden Flyers scored six of the nine goals in the quarter to take a 9-5 lead into halftime.
After a
David Evert '14 (Niagara Falls, NY -- Niagara Wheatfield) marker early in the third EC cut the deficit to four at 10-6, but that was as close as they would get as Nazareth poured on the offense en route to the 21-10 victory. The Golden Flyers held advantages in a number of categories in the game as they dominated shots (62-30), ground balls (57-44) and face-offs (23-11).
White led the EC attack with three goals, four assists, four ground balls and two caused turnovers, while
Evert added three goals.
Armideo had a solid game leading the Soaring Eagles with eight ground balls and 10 face-off wins.
Dave Bucchino '13 (Cedar Grove, NJ -- Bow) played just over 57 minutes in net for Elmira making 18 saves, while
Mike Knowlton '14 (Manchester, ME -- Maranacook) played the final 2:30 between the pipes.
