Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College men's lacrosse team is getting ready to travel to Cazenovia College today. The game is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
  
Last Time Out
The Purple and Gold are coming off a 15-4 loss to Lebanon Valley from over the weekend. Eric Hallman '15 led the EC men with a goal and an assist while Wyatt Katsos '17 made 15 saves in the net.
 
Career-First
In his first career game, and on his very first shot, Ollie Heitkamp '18 scored his first career goal and the Purple and Gold's first goal of the 2015 season to tie the game up at 1-1.
 
A Look at Cazenovia
The Wildcats of Cazenovia enter today's matchup with a 1-1 record. Cazenovia defeated Neumann University 10-6 and then fell to Methodist University, 18-9. Brandon Maxson leads the Wildcats offensively with five goals and one assist while Alex Delavan has made 14 saves in net for Cazenovia.
 
First Time Matchup
For the first time in recent history, Elmira will face Cazenovia College. This marks the second game in a row that the Purple and Gold will face an opponent that they have not previously faced.
