Box Score HAMBURG, N.Y. -- The Elmira College men's lacrosse team played a narrow and low-scoring game at Hilbert College on Wednesday afternoon, as the Hawks defended their home turf with an 8-6 victory.
Six different players earned a point in the losing effort, and five finished with multiple points.
Sam Crary '23 and
Matt Daley '24 paced Elmira (1-2) with two goals apiece.
Sam Shaw '22 (1g-1a),
Brennan Bitely '24 (1g-1a), and goalie
Jacob Mattice' (2a) also had two points against the Hawks (1-0).
Rounding out EC's offensive production was senior
Cameron Lambert '21, who dished out one assist.
Liam Doyle led all scorers with four goals for Hilbert.
