ELMIRA, N.Y. -- The Elmira College golf team hosted their annual Fall Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Elmira Country Club – placing 6^th of nine participating teams. With the course being saturated from rainfall a night ago, Shane Haviland '24 shined for the Soaring Eagles, tying for 4^th place individually as he shot an 84 (+12).
 
Haviland had himself a sold day, scoring a 40 on the front nine, including two birdies. He also scored four straight pars from the 10^th to the 13 holes on the back nine.
 
Nicholas Domitrovic '24 shot an 88 (+16) on the day behind Haviland, scoring a 40 on the back. He scored a birdie and a pair of pars through the first five holes on the back half of the course.
