MANHEIM, PA. – The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced its latest NCAA Women's Coaches Poll and Individual National Rankings as the Elmira College women's wrestling program is ranked t-24th along with three other programs.
 
The Soaring Eagles are tied for 24th in the latest tournament top 25 team rankings with Simpson College, Gannon University, and New England College. Zoey Lints '27 is ranked 8th at 145 pounds in the individual polls for the Purple & Gold, while Elmira also has 10 wrestlers who are ranked regionally in the top five of their respective weight classes. 
 
Lints checks in at No. 8 among wrestlers at 145 pounds as she is ranked ahead of Annie Obermark (Simpson College) and Erica Smith (Colorado Mesa University). Macey Kilty (University of Iowa) holds the No. 1 spot at 145 pounds, ahead of teammate Reese Larramendy. 
 
Lints is also the top-ranked wrestler at 145 pounds in Region I and has put together a 14-1 record since the beginning of January. Lints dropped her first match of the new year at the NWCA National Duals against Riley Aamold of North Central and has responded with 14 consecutive wins, including 11 via fall. 
 
In the latest regional rankings, Elmira has 10 wrestlers ranked among Region I opponents, including six who rank second in their respective weight classes. Elmira's Abby Duke '26 checks in at No. 2 both in the 110-pound and 117-pound weight classes for the Soaring Eagles.

Skylah Chakouian '25 is closing in on becoming the first in program history to reach 100 overall wins for her career and has put together an 11-4 record in 2025 with nine pins. Chakouian currently has an overall record of 96 wins and 35 losses during her four seasons with the Soaring Eagles. 

Elmira has also received solid performances in the new year from a pair of first-year wrestlers in Ragan Retell '28 and Talia Robles '28. Retell has three wins via tech fall and one via decision, as she has competed at the NWCA National Duals, Journeyman Duals, and Bobcat Open for Elmira. Robles has four wins as well, with three coming via pin and one via a decision, as she has competed at the Will Abele Invite, Journeyman Duals, and Bobcat Open for the Soaring Eagles.
