ELMIRA, N.Y. – Elmira College women's wrestler Zoey Lints has been named the AMCC Wrestler of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.

No. 4 ranked Lints was a pivotal wrestler for the Soaring Eagles at the NWCA National Duals Championship Meet this past weekend. Lints posted a 5-0 record in all five duals, helping Elmira land a sixth-place finish overall.

Lints recorded three falls, one decision, and one tech fall on the weekend. Most notable, Lints defeated No. 3 nationally ranked opponent Zoey Haines from Eastern University in an 8-2 decision.

As a team, the Soaring Eagles recorded wins against Augustana (24-23), Schreiner (24-24, decided by team falls), and Eastern (25-22).

Lints competes in the 145-weight class and holds a 26-1 overall record and a 17-0 dual record so far this season.
