ALFRED, N.Y. – The Elmira College women's wrestling traveled to compete in the first ever AMCC Tournament. The Soaring Eagles collected the first ever AMCC Championship title with a total of 111.5 team points while marking 12 podium finishers. Amongst the 12 podium finishers, five marked a first-place finish, four marked a second-place finish, two marked a third-place finish, and one marked a fourth-place finish.
Individual champions included:
Abby Duke (110-weight class),
Megan Edwards (124-weight class),
Gabby Bradigan (138-weight class),
Zoey Lints (145-weight class), and
Talia Robles (160-weight class).
Megan Edwards was also named the AMCC Wrestler of the Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Duke competed in the 110-weight class and posted a 1-0 record on the day. In her lone match, she posted a 10-0 tech fall against her opponent to garner a first-place finish.
- Edwards competed in the 124 bout and posted a 3-0 record on the day. In her first match, she recorded a fall at the 0:30 mark to advance on. In her second bout, she recorded her second fall at 2:02 to compete in the championship match. In her final match of the day, she recorded her third and final fall at 1:12 to collect a first-place finish.
- Bradigan competed in the 138-weight class and posted a 1-0 record on the day. In her lone match, she recorded a fall at 2:40 to garner a first-place finish.
- No. 3 Lints competed in the 145 bout and posted a 2-0 record on the day. In her first match, she notched the fall at 0:49 to advance to the championship match. This win also gave Lints her 100th career victory. In the championship match, she recorded the fall at 0:18 to collect a first-place finish.
- Robles competed in the 160-weight class and posted a 2-0 record on the day. In her first match, she recorded the fall at 1:39 to advance to the championship match. In her final bout of the day, she recorded another fall at 2:45 to garner a first-place finish.
- Kali Bailey competed in the 131 bout and posted a 1-1 record on the day. In her first match, she recorded the fall at 2:14 to advance to the championship match. She fell just short in a narrow 8-6 decision to collect second place.
- Tess Clabaugh competed in the 138-weight class and posted a 1-1 record on the day. In her first match of the day, she notched the fall at 1:16 to advance to the championship bout. She fell just short in the bout to collected second place.
- Angelina Caban competed in the 180-weight class and posted a 1-1 record on the day. In her first match, she marked the fall at 0:48 to advance to the championship match. She fell just short in a 10-0 tech fall to collect second place.
- Alexis Bilka-Durdon competed in the 207-weight class and posted a 1-1 record on the day. In her first bout, she notched the fall at 1:16 to advance to the championship match. She fell just short in a 2-2 decision to finish in second place.
- Joycedeliz Rodriguez Santiago competed in the 103-weight class and garnered a third-place finish.
- Marissa Crofoot competed in the 207 bout and posted a 2-1 record on the day. In her first match, she recorded the fall at 0:26. In her second match, she fell short in a narrow 10-9 decision. In her final match, she recorded a 10-0 tech fall to garner a third-place finish.
- Nyla Capen competed in the 180-weight class and garnered a fourth-place finish.
