Donegal had a coming out party against Hilbert College on Saturday as he recorded his first career hat trick against the Hawks. His three-goal game helped the men's soccer team erase a 3-0 first-half deficit and earn a 3-3 double overtime tie with Hilbert. EC fell behind 3-0 just over 24 minutes into the game, but Donegal's first goal of the game made it 3-1 just before halftime. Following the intermission, Donegal and the Soaring Eagles went back to work, scoring goals in the 55th and the 73rd minutes to knot the game up at three. No other goals were scored for the remainder of regulation or in the 20 minutes of extra time, leading to the 3-3 tie.
 
Donegal and the men's soccer team return home to take on Rochester Institute of Technology on Tuesday, September 16th at 4:00 p.m. on Campus Field.
