A native of Sacramento, California, Jeremy Every '20 logged two of the best games of his career against two of the top teams in the Empire 8 Conference. On Saturday against first-place Nazareth, the fourth-year guard netted a career-high 27 points and was a perfect 13-of-13 from the foul line. The following afternoon against second-place St. John Fisher, he racked up another 20 points with a season-high three assists. It marked the first time in Every's career that he's reached 20 points in consecutive contests, as he averaged a team-best 23.5 points per game over the weekend.
Following his stellar weekend, Every's scoring average nearly doubled to 5.5 points per game. He's reached double-digit points three times as a senior and will look to continue his red-hot streak throughout the final three games of the regular season.
EC's three-game season-ending road stand begins on Friday, February 14, when the Soaring Eagles visit Alfred for a Valentine's Day matchup at 5:30 p.m. in Alfred, New York.
