Combined, she averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists, while shooting 47.8% from the field. In the dramatic comeback against the Highlanders, Franklin poured in a career-high 16 points. The Binghamton, New York, native added her third double-double of the season in the triumph over the Saxons with 15 points and 10 rebounds the following afternoon.
Over her last three contests, Franklin has been on a roll. She's reached double figures in all three games while averaging 14.7 points per game. In conference play, she leads all Soaring Eagles in scoring (11.0 ppg), rebounding (7.2 rpg), and assists (3.0 apg).
Franklin and the EC women's basketball team will conclude non-conference play on Tuesday, January 21, with a 6:00 p.m. showdown against SUNY Delhi. Tip-off from Speidel Gymnasium is set for 6:00 p.m.
