Harkins had a strong week on the court, leading the men's basketball team to a win in their Empire 8-opening game against Ithaca College. The newcomer averaged 12.0 points per game in the week's four games, including scoring a career-high 17 points twice. He scored 17 points against No. 13 nationally-ranked Centre College in the final game of the Washington and Lee University Tournament, and then matched that mark in EC's win over Ithaca on Friday. Harkins did the majority of his damage from distance, shooting 13-of-25 from three-point range in the week's four games, improving his three-point shooting percentage to an Empire 8-leading 50.0 percent.

Harkins and the men's basketball team return to action on Tuesday, January 6th when they travel to take on Alfred University at 8:00 p.m.
