The duo was two of many Elmira players that helped the baseball team to five wins in seven games last week, including the first doubleheader sweep in program history against Baptist Bible College on Saturday.

Rothenberg had a tremendous week from the top of EC's order, posting a team-best .481 batting average with 13 hits in 27 at-bats. Four of his 13 hits went for extra-bases, including two doubles and two triples. His performance produced five RBI and a fourth-best .704 slugging percentage. Rothenberg continued to run well on the base-paths going a perfect 6-for-6 in stolen base attempts, putting pressure on opposing pitchers each game. His ability to get on base and advance into scoring position helped EC produce 61 runs in the week, with Rothenberg crossing home plate eight times. Finally, he was flawless in center field, recording 15 putouts and one assist in 16 chances for a 1.000 fielding percentage.
