Kelsey Ross '16 was one of four Soaring Eagles to collect at least 20 kills and finished second on the team with 43 digs in last week's matches against the University of Rochester, Houghton College, and Stevens Institute of Technology.
Against the U of R on October 21st, Ross recorded 21 digs, second-most in the match and her second-highest total this season. She also earned four kills and one service ace.
On October 24th, against the Highlanders, Ross finished with nine kills and a .292 hitting percentage, her highest since October 10th vs. Utica. In the first two sets of the 3-0 sweep, she had seven kills without an error. Ross was also second among Soaring Eagles with 12 digs, her 16th double-digit dig performance of the season.
The Oswego, NY, native hit above .200 in back-to-back matches for the first time in 2015 with a .208 percentage against Stevens on Saturday. She had a team-high seven kills to go along with eight digs in that match.
Overall, Ross leads the Purple and Gold in digs (3.05) and digs per set (3.05), and is third on the team in kills (166) and kills per set (1.66).
