Mark Kawecki '17 finished second in kills (47), kills per set (3.13), and total blocks (9), while ranking third in aces (7) and digs (24) for the Soaring Eagles last week. He registered double-digit kills in three of the five matches and tied his season high with 10 digs against the Mustangs.
The product of Bangor, PA, recorded a season-high .353 attack percentage with 10 kills against the Lions. He then reset his personal season best by hitting at a rate of .458 – the second-highest of his EC career - with a match-high 14 kills against Rivier.
Kawecki then earned his second double-double of the year in the home match versus No. 7 Stevenson with 10 kills and a season high-tying 10 digs. He capped off the week one kill shy of his ninth double-digit outing of the year, adding six digs and three block assists against SUNY Poly.
On the season, Kawecki is third on the Soaring Eagles with 156 kills, 2.79 kills per game and 19 aces. He needs only two more kills to establish a career high.
