In the first round of the ECAC West Tournament against No. 9 Utica College, Johanna Eidensten '17 tallied EC's lone goal at the 5:34 mark of the third period. Her score extended her streak of consecutive games with a goal to five straight contests, a career best. She also has at least one point in a career-long six straight games.
With her score against the Pioneers, the junior from Täby, Sweden, has a career-high seven goals to go along with six assists for 13 points. Of her seven goals, three have been game-winners, tied for fifth-most in the ECAC West.
The honor is Eidensten's third EC Athlete of the Week award of her career.
