Audrey Clarke '18 earned her third top-three finish of the season at the Ithaca College Invitational, held on Saturday and Sunday at the Country Club of Ithaca. She paced the Soaring Eagles in the highly-competitive field with a second-place finish. In the first round of action, the second-year talent shot a 10-over 82, putting her in a two-way tie for second place. She broke the tie on day two, carding an 11-over 83 for a two-day total of 165 to finish five strokes off the pace of Ithaca's Indiana Jones, who claimed individual medalist honors.
The Churchville, NY, native finished among the top-three for the fifth time in her two-year career at Elmira. Earlier this season, Clarke placed third at the Empire 8 Conference Tournament, earning her Empire 8 All-Conference First Team accolades and EC Athlete of the Week.
The Soaring Eagles will conclude the 2015-16 slate in a dual meet against Keuka College on Saturday, April 30th.
