The goal from Prance helped the No. 2-ranked Soaring Eagles extend their unbeaten streak to eight consecutive games with a 2-0 victory over Trinity. The native of Chaumont, New York, received a pass from Ari Smith '18 and carried the puck over the blue line into the offensive zone. She then deked her way through a pair of defenders and released a left-handed shot that beat Bantam goalie Jess Thulin glove-side, putting the Soaring Eagles up 1-0 with 4:07 to left in regulation.
On the season, Prance has a pair of goals and one assist for three points. Her tally against Trinity was the third game-winning goal of her career.
Prance and the nationally-ranked women's ice hockey team will enjoy a three-week hiatus from competition over the holiday break, before returning to action on Monday, January 2nd, against No. 6 Middlebury College. The Purple and Gold will travel to Middlebury, Vermont, to face the Panthers at 5:00 p.m.
