Hall was responsible for EC's second goal in a 4-2 loss to Trinity in the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader at the Murray Athletic Center. Despite the defeat, one that ended Elmira's three-game win streak, Hall helped keep the Soaring Eagles within striking distance in the tight battle by knotting the game at 2-all midway through the second period.
The play began when Harry Kramer '20 gathered the puck off of the boards and centered it to Andrew Pucci '20 in the high slot. With a defender bearing down on him, Pucci released a howitzer that hit Trinity netminder Alex Morin square in the chest. Morin attempted to cradle the puck in his arms to freeze play, but when he couldn't corral it, Hall, who was stationed just to the right of the crease, tapped it in for the equalizer.
Not only was Hall's tally the first of his career, but it also marked the first point of his rookie season, making the Toldeo, Ohio, native the 13th member of Elmira's large freshman class to recorded at least one point this season.
