In a five set win against Stevens Zavadska pounded out a team-high 17 kills to go along with 11 digs. She recorded a match-high 12 kills along with eight digs, while hitting .500 against Hartwick. In EC’s third game of the weekend the Bratislava, Slovakia native finished with another double pounding out 11 kills, recording 12 digs and finishing with a .400 hitting percentage.
After two weekends of Empire 8 conference play Elmira sits in second place at 5-1. They trail only undefeated Nazareth who is 5-0. Stevens is right on EC's heels at 4-1. However, with the win on Friday EC holds a tiebreak advantage over the Ducks.Â
