Light was phenomenal in a 1-1 week for the Field Hockey team as it defeated Cedar Crest 6-2 on the road Monday before falling in a tight 2-1 contest at home against Ithaca on Saturday. The junior forward had a breakout performance on Monday as she tallied six points on two goals and two assists, including the game-winning goal.

The Purple and Gold are having their best season in recent history as their four wins so far this season match its win total from the last four seasons combined. Light has been a constant for the team as she leads EC with 17 points in the form of seven goals and three assists.
The Field Hockey team returns to action for its final contest of the season Sunday when it hosts the top conference team, Stevens Institute of Technology, at 1:00 p.m. at the Murray Athletic Center.
