Burtt tallied two goals and an assist to help lift the Soaring Eagles to a thrilling 5-4 victory against Brockport on Saturday night at the Murray Athletic Center. The freshman nailed a slap shot just inside the right post with just 10 seconds remaining in the second period to knot the game at 2-2 heading into the third frame.

At the 3:06 mark of the third period Burtt tallied an unassisted marker that would give Elmira its first lead of the contest, a lead it would not relinquish the remainder of the game. Twelve seconds after his score, the Manotick, ONT native was on the other end as he fed Jesper Strale '14 for a score to cushion the lead.

Burtt is second on the team with four points this season. He is tied for the team lead with three scores and has also added one assist so far in the 2012-13 campaign.
