The Dumont, New Jersey, native also paced the team in scoring in the opening weekend of Empire 8 Conference action. He dropped 20 points against both Stevens and Sage, upping his per-game average to a team-best 15.7. Porrett was an efficient shooter in an 83-79 win over the Gators, as he finished 80.0 percent from the field (8-of-10) and from the charity stripe (4-of-5).
