Welcome to Another ClubAshton Hogan '15 entered the weekend with 89 career goals, needing only 11 goals to become the fifth player in program history to score 100 goals in a career. She scored five against Fredonia State and six goals against SUNY Canton to reach the prestigious plateau.
Spoljaric Tied a Program RecordMoorea Spoljaric '16 scored three goals and tallied seven assists against SUNY Canton to record a total of 10 points. This ties the EC record for most points scored in a single game and she becomes just the second player in Elmira history to tally 10 points in game. The other was Alicia Ceppaglia '06 who notched 10 points on seven goals and three assists against Manhattanville College on April 22nd, 2004.
Scouting Farmingdale StateThe Rams hold a 5-4 overall record and 3-1 mark inside the Skyline Conference. Farmingdale State displays a balanced attack as four players have recorded 20-plus points this season. Leading all scorers is Nicole Marzocca '15 who has scored 38 points on 16 goals and 22 assists while Christy Thoden '15 follows with 32 points on 20 goals and 12 assists. Alyssa Handel '15 and Jackie Kennedy '15 have posted 27 and 20 points, respectively.
First Time MatchupToday's matchup marks the first time that the Purple and Gold have competed against Farmingdale. This is Elmira's first time this season that the EC women will face an opponent they have never seen.
